Canon is a place to log what you watch and read, and to find your people. Be the person you'd want in your own guestbook: no harassment, no hate, no spam, no impersonation. You moderate your own reviews and guestbook; the report button covers the rest, and reported accounts that break these rules get removed. Strong opinions about films are encouraged. Strong opinions about people are not.
Privacy
Your logs, reviews, profile and guestbook are public. Chats are private between the two participants. We store only what you give us (account email, your logs and writing) in Google Firebase (EU-accessible, GDPR-compliant infrastructure), use no ads and no trackers, and never sell anything. Export your data anytime with the CSV buttons. Deleting your account below removes your logs, reviews and profile permanently — comments you left on others' reviews can be removed on request.
